an exam???...but I thought we were just playing games! This is a primer for kids and formerly apolitical adults who need to brush up on the basics. Anyone can learn from this game about the four largest parties. It can be played like Jeopardy or as a guessing game.

impersoNation

In this role-playing game, players act as elected officials in a multi-party council with proportional representation, negotiating new policy thru persuasive win-win proposals. Staged as a press conference and victory party, participants are assigned external roles such senatorial candidates, journalist, police, bouncer, and aide. Candidates are given talking points to answer questions, as they try to avoid allegations. Throw into that mix a few assigned secret identities, and a near infinite number of backroom negotiations could emerge. The game helps you to practice ranked choice voting if you choose to. You could have candidates dress in their colors and follow improv comedy rules to throw a political role-playing PARTY!
